You absolutely can! Canvas has a free app for both Android and iOS devices. However, it is recommended that this is not your main form of accessing your courses as some links and content do not load properly on mobile devices if possible. We recommend using a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) on a laptop or desktop when accessing your Canvas account as all of your course content will function more efficiently and reliably on a computer.

Want to use a laptop or hotspot, but not sure where to access?
Both campuses have laptop kiosks! These are located on the first floor of the Love Building on Davidson Campus and in the Library on Davie Campus. Just go to the front desk of the respective location to inquire. Hotspots are available at the front desk.
Requirements for all of items (excluding those loaned through TRIO) include:
- A form to be filled out located at front desk of the location they are at which must be done each semester
- Approval is required before borrowing is allowed.
- If you keep a device past due date, you are blocked from borrowing more devices
- If a device is lost or damaged, there is a fee:
- Laptops: $1200
- Hotspots: $100
