Starfish Progress Surveys (Instructor)

Schedule

• For 8-week courses, progress surveys are open week 4 through week 5.

• For 16-week courses, progress surveys are open week 7 through week 8.

Exception to Schedule

Courses that do not follow an 8-week or 16-week format, which are generally designated by a “5” in the section name of the course, will not receive a formal progress survey.  Instead, faculty should raise log into Starfish to raise flags for students by the 40% point of the course.  

Communication with Faculty

When a progress survey is available, faculty will receive an email generated by the Starfish system that directs them to complete the survey, including a link to the survey.  Faculty will receive reminder emails 3 days before and 1 day before the survey window is closed while the survey has not been submitted.
