As an institution, Davidson Davie Community College mostly uses Google apps such as Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Google Drive. However, you may find that you need use Microsoft apps such as Work, PowerPoint, and Excel instead in some courses. If you need to use Microsoft, use this guide to access tools.
Accessing Microsoft 365 Online
On a computer (PC or laptop), visit a Microsoft 365 tool link and click Sign In in the top right corner of your screen. For more details or help, see our Microsoft webpage.

Download Microsoft 365 Apps
If you need to download Microsoft 365 applications to your computer, you can also click the logo in the top-left corner of the Word, Excel, or PowerPoint webpages listed above to open a menu. Click Install Microsoft 365 apps.
Please note: Microsoft 365 apps are not compatible with other Microsoft applications such as Microsoft 2017. If you already have another Microsoft application installed on your computer (such as Microsoft 2019), you will need to decide if you want to keep using the Microsoft applications you already have. If needed, you may need to remove older versions of Microsoft from your computer in order to use Microsoft 365 applications. These applications do have some differences. Please confirm with your instructor if there is a specific Microsoft version that is required to complete your course activities. This is especially when enrolled in specific Computer Science, CIS, courses.
