Update your iPhone Camera/Picture Format Settings
First, you will want to update the settings on your phone for picture format. Pictures from the iPhone are saved in High Efficiency (HEIC) format by default and these will not load in Moodle. To submit pictures to Moodle you must update your camera settings to save your pictures in the Most Compatible (JPEG/PNG) format.
- Open the Settings application on your iPhone.
- Select Camera
- Select Formats
- Select Most Compatible
I need to add my pictures to a file.
If you need to use Google apps to create files. You will need to download a Google app on your phone like Google Photos or Google Drive. Log into your school account and Upload or Backup your photo onto the app. Then you will be able to log into your Google Drive school account to access them on your computer to add then to files like Google Docs or Slides. I need to submit my pictures to a Moodle Assignment.
If you don't need to add them to a file, but just need to submit picture(s) directly to an assignment in Moodle - First see details on how to download and log into the OpenLMS app (link opens in new tab) on your phone. Then you will be able to locate your course and upload your pictures to the assignment in Moodle.
