Student Accounts
To create an account, all students need to do is sign in to YuJa through one of their courses. In your navigation links for the course, you should see a link for YuJa.
As with all links this one can be moved up or down the list and hidden from students. (Visit our tutorial on editing navigation links to learn more.) Clicking on this link will open the user's YuJa account or create an account for those that don't have one yet. This allows users (both instructors and students) to create and manage their videos without leaving Canvas.
How can students use YuJa in Canvas?
Students can:
Create, Edit, Store videos
Students who have a YuJa account can record/upload and videos to their YuJa account and easily share them by linking or embedding their videos.
Add videos to forum posts and assignments that have text editor tools using the YuJa button
Quick Tips
If you want students to add a YuJa video to an assignment, make sure you give them a text box as an answer field. You can do this by enabling Online Text in your Assignment activity settings.
