Import

Importing content in Moodle is basically how you copy course content from one course to another. To do this you must have to have teacher level access to that course in order to copy content from it.

Quick Tips

  • DO NOT click import more than once! Doing this will result in multiple copies of content and it will be time consuming to fix. Give it time to load and if your content does not copy with an hour or two reach out for more support.
  • When you start an import, stay on the import status page while the import loads! Navigating to another page inside of Moodle during an import could interrupt the process.
  • If you encounter any error messages that you cannot resolve on your own, copy and paste that error message into an email and send it to edtech@davidsondavie.edu so that we can help troubleshoot the error.
