You can collect data about which videos are getting watched, how many times they are being watched, as well as which students are watching the videos and how much time they are spending watching the videos.
Go to your YuJa account. Click on the grid of dots at the top right of the YuJa screen and choose “Usage & Analytics” to bring up the Usage & Analytics options. You should see a column to the left of the screen with icons representing the types of analytics you can view.
Hover your mouse over the column to open a sidebar of menu options:
Content - This option will show you analytics related to your individual videos. Use this to find an overview of how times a video has been watched, which students have watched a video, how much time they spent viewing the video, and other details of their viewing session. This is helpful when trying to verify whether your students are watching a given video and gathering information to help troubleshoot when something doesn't go right.
Users - This option will allow you to view analytics related to individual users across multiple videos. Use this to detect patterns of behavior.
Courses - This option is where you’ll find analytics related to your course as a whole. Courses will only have analytics available if you are using the Course Channel to post your videos.
Grade Book - This option refers to the YuJa grade book. Use this if you need to cross-reference scores that are coming over from YuJa into Moodle.
Quick Tips
There is a shortcut for viewing the analytics for individual videos: hover over the video>click “More”>choose “Analytics” from the menu on the left hand side of the dialog box. If the specific information is not immediately visible, click "More" and it will take you to the full analytics page for that video.
